Glenelg Wellness Retreat  provides guided wellness recreation classes, such as BNB Method Wellness training, Healing Culture Immersion Program and Bed & Breakfast services to various local, national and international clients. We provide BNB wellness classes to yoga studios and businesses, who wish to provide employees wellness program as a part of their employee benefits. We are proud to give lectures on BNB wellness self-help techniques in senior homes, hospitals, companies and schools to help those who need to regain their balance in body, mind and spirit.
NEW 2020 See how we raise and train our puppies at Glenelg Dog & Puppy Paradise. Out of the wonderful experience with my first Border Collie puppy, which was properly raised and trained four months with her entire dog family, I had the idea to do this as well with the puppies. I wanted to show how important it is for them to have time with their mom, to live with their siblings, and be ready to spend the rest of their beautiful lives with us humans. If you give them a chance, they easily learn how to behave, and make us happy. We believe that after four months, lots of patience, they will be the best companion possible. A dog who can develop the right way can be healing for us.

BNB Self-help Wellness

Healing Culture Immersion (HCI) Program

BNB Method is a unique self-help body-mind-spirit integration method developed by the business owner based on her over 25 year- teaching and practitioner experiences as a Personal Life Coach and a Licensed Holistic medical doctor in Germany. The BNB method focuses on improving people’s awareness on regaining their mind- body-spirit balance through harmonizing living environment, transforming daily habits into correct postures in action, sitting and sleeping, and nourishing thinking. After learning the BNB method, people will be more aware of unbalanced elements in their living environment and change them, e.g. inappropriate chair height, the positions of beds, and work tables can be distracting; the shoes people wear can either support or disturb digestion; a living walking method can aid deep breathing and spine relaxation. BNB method is detailed in  the business owner's book “ the Flow of Water of Life” published in Germany in 2003. 

Personal Coaching

Our Personal Coaching service is based on your (the client's) expressed interests, goals, and objectives. It is a learning process for you and us.  We use inquiry, reflection, requests and discussion to help you identify personal and/or business and/or relationship goals, develop strategies, relationships and action plans intended to achieve those goals.  We monitor your progress towards implementation of the action plans. Together we evolve and modify the plan to best suit your needs and environmental relationships. We act as a human mirror for  you by sharing an outside and unbiased perspective. We teach specific insights and skills such as BNB method to empower you the client toward your goals. We encourage you to celebrate the achievement of the milestones and goals. Clients are responsible for your own achievements and success. You take action; and the coach may assist, but never leads or does more than you. 

HCI Program focuses on helping the participants to shift configurations of feeling about wellbeing and cultural stereotypes in a global context. In the HCI program, the participants’ beliefs, including notions about their bodily integrity or emotional wellbeing, causation for loss of balance, the experiences, and expressions unfold through intuitive art creation activities, Tao meditation, healing music/songs composing, story-telling and tea ceremony. HCI provides a carefree retreat style environment for participants to engage in a guided self-analysis of the impact of culture on their belief systems. HCI gives guidance for spiritual wellness and self- empowerment. To reach a life-supporting relationship with the Self, nature, and the community, HCI considers the unbalanced symptoms, and how they are interpreted, communicated and transformed. 

Yoga and QiGong Wellness

Qigong or ChiKung is a practice  of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation. With roots in Chinese medicine, and philosophy, Qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance intrinsic life energy along the meridians. And it is considered to be a type of alternative medicine or practice which  helps develop human potential, allow access to higher realms of awareness, and awaken one's "true nature" to heal oneself.  The goal of Yoga is a union of mind, body, and soul.  Yoga postures can help us in controlling, through the subtle effect on the glandular system, the many propensities of the mind. This is because our minds have an indisputable relationship with our bodies and actions, and vice versa.  QiGong and Yoga share similarities.  In some forms of QiGong, attention or intention is important because wherever our attention goes, our energy flows. In practicing Yoga Asanas, to direct attention to the right spots will help one achieve benefits of Yoga Asanas effortlessly and more naturally. ​

Sages in ancient times knew the rules of Yin and Yang (Balance), and did exercises to harmonize themselves with nature. They were moderate in eating and drinking, regular in working and resting, avoiding any over-strain. In this way they would maintain a desirable harmony between the mind and body, enjoying a life of longevity and prosperity.
